But in all likelihood the greater accumulations will be SW of here with the chance that the WNY Niagara Frontier may not get all that much. Not much precip was realized for the past weekend, so all the trib flows are on the drop and clearing for now. That consistency the Oak is known for is showing thru once again. Approx 100,000+ King salmon and 10,000 15,000 steelhead are placed in the net pens for hopeful imprinting on the Oak Orchard. Flows are mod or almost med and mostly clear. Total snow cover in the immediate area may only be 6 inches give or take, but the snow is wind swept bare in spots or drifted in feet otherwise. Cooling weather and water will also help bring on better brown trout and steelhead action and the area is not likely to suffer thru any more real warm weather now that we are well into October.
